For the “
rape
” and the “
excruciating death
” of Alicia, 14, strangled in 2018, a sentence of criminal imprisonment between 25 and 30 years was required Wednesday September 23 before the assizes of Haute-Garonne against Alexandre Besse , a 22-year-old cook, remained in denial during the trial.

The thesis of the accused, who attributed the death to an "
accident
" during a consensual sexual relationship, "
does not stand up to the investigation
", launched the lawyer general Céline Fleury, estimating the "
homicidal intention established
”.
Against a young man with "
deviant sexual behavior
" and "
who is used to lying
", she demanded "
a prison sentence of between 25 and 30 years, accompanied by a safety sentence of at least 15 years and socio-judicial monitoring
”.
Sexual intercourse, at the home of the accused where the teenager had come accompanied by a friend, was necessarily "
imposed
", said the magistrate, pointing to the "
severe injuries
" inflicted on the schoolgirl.
Alicia had been discovered in cardio-respiratory arrest, on the evening of April 19, 2018, concealed in a safe bed, a T-shirt in her mouth and a cord around her neck in the accused's apartment in Beauzelle, near Toulouse.
"I don't remember anymore, I did anything by changing the crime scene"
Described by the civil parties as "
a teenage girl full of life, serious
", she was first revived, but died in hospital.
The gendarmes had intervened at Alexandre Besse's home alerted by the father and mother-in-law of the schoolgirl, worried about his delay in returning.
The accused had first tried to hide his actions by remaining seated on the safe bed.
During the trial, which opened on Monday, he did not deviate from his line of defense, citing a consented report during which he would have squeezed Alicia's neck out of play, before "
losing control
" then "
panicking
", especially because of his past, marked by a conviction for exhibitionism at 15 years.
"
I do not remember any more, I did anything by modifying the scene of crime
", he persisted, vis-a-vis civil parties calling him to "
tell the truth
".
Bresse is a "
crybaby who weeps for himself and not for the victims
", without "
any compassion, no contrition
" lamented Alicia's father's lawyer, Me Bruno Merle.
The verdict is expected in the evening after the plea of the defense lawyer, Me Muriel Amar-Touboul, who on the contrary described the accused as a "
kind
" and "
fragile
" man.
