For his part, Engineer Nazih Al-Rifai, Director of Homs Agriculture, said in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the expected production of eggplant for the current season is 4275 tons, and its cultivation is concentrated in the western and eastern centers, especially the areas of Rastan - Al Qusayr - Al Mokhram - Talkalakh, explaining that the marketing started from the beginning of the seventh month and continues for a period of 120 Days, an average of 35 tons per day, pointing out that the estimates of production of capsicum amount to 2106 tons, and it is concentrated in the aforementioned areas of the Western Center / Eastern Center.
