The Czech MP in the European Parliament, Dr. Ivan David, confirmed that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are committing war crimes in the areas they occupy in Syria with the consensus and support of American and Western policies.
In an article published today on the Nova Repubblica website, David explained that the latest report of the United Nations Human Rights Council confirmed, with documents and evidence, that the Turkish regime and its mercenaries had committed war crimes against the civilian population in northern Syria, which contradicts international humanitarian law.
He pointed out that the areas occupied by the Turkish regime in northern Syria have turned into a safe haven for the most extremist and terrorist groups, while Western countries remain shamefully silent about the crimes of Recep Tayyip Erdogan's regime.
David also drew attention to the ugly practices of the Erdogan regime towards its people, noting that "everyone who opposes it is accused of terrorism ... and that is why Turkey has now turned into the largest prisoner of journalists in the world."
