For David Lisnard, there are no small incivilities;
in his eyes they are indicative of a deeper evil in society.
To support his demonstration, David Lisnard likes to use the
“broken tile theory”,
popularized in the 1990s by the mayor of New York, Rudolph Giuliani.
“The more quickly we intervene when a tile is broken on a common part of a building or on a bus shelter, the less additional damage there will be.
