The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has added a Clorox company product commonly used in homes to its list of effective disinfectants to remove coronavirus from the most frequently contaminated surfaces.
Pine-Sol multipurpose surface cleaner
was added to the list of EPA products that have been proven effective in eliminating the virus that causes COVID-19, an agency spokeswoman told CNN on Tuesday.
The Clorox company said in a statement that an independent laboratory carried out studies showing that the disinfectant can kill coronavirus on hard, non-porous surfaces 10 minutes after being applied.

Although the availability of some of these goods is reduced due to high demand, the good news is that there are many other effective disinfectants against this virus.

, is how they are used.
You have to "focus on high contact areas, that is,

Soap and water

Besides the use of a mask, of course.
The virus has an outer layer, and inside it, DNA or RNA, which are what really cause the disease.
It is something like the casing of a bomb or torpedo ”, explains Richard Sachleben, chemist and member of the American Chemical Society.
"For a virus, that coating is a protein, and soap or detergent breaks that coating, so once it is unraveled, it falls apart."
