Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been released from the intensive care unit at Charita Hospital in Berlin, Reuters reported.

Navalny, who was poisoned with Soviet military nerve gas of the Novitchuk type, was hospitalized for more than two weeks while unconscious in Berlin and only last week regained consciousness.

At the "Charita" hospital in Berlin, it was decided today that Navalny's condition allows him to be released from hospital.

"Based on the patient's progress and current condition, the doctors treating him believe that a complete recovery from the incident is possible. However, it is too early to determine whether long-term effects of the severe poisoning were caused," the hospital said.

Yesterday, Navalny tweeted on social media Twitter that signs of the nerve gas were found not only in his body but also on him, after he apparently sprayed the material before boarding a flight from the city of Tomsk to the Russian capital Moscow.

In a rare move, health authorities in Russia allowed the opposition man to fly to Berlin, less than two days after he was poisoned.

"A villain poisoned himself"

Despite growing evidence of Nabalani poisoning, Moscow is providing increasingly bizarre denials.

Yesterday, the media in France and Russia reported that during a conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emanuel Macron, the former claimed that Nabalani may have poisoned himself.

During the conversation, the transcript of which was published by the French newspaper Le Monde, Putin said that Nablani was "making trouble on the Internet who had previously suffered from all sorts of similar diseases."

Navalny himself responded to the allegations with humor and bitterness and wrote: 'Good version.

I think it deserves close scrutiny.

I cooked in the Novitchuk kitchen.

Quietly, I sipped it from the water on the plane.

I went into a coma.

Before that, I had agreed with my wife, friends and colleagues that if the Ministry of Health insisted on flying me to Germany, I would in no way agree.

To die in a hospital in Omsk and be in the morgue in the city, where "enough was alive" was determined to be the cause of death - that was the ultimate goal of my unscrupulous plan.

But Putin overshadowed me.

You can not deceive him like that.

Bottom line, I was in a coma for 18 days like some fool, but I didn't get mine.

The provocation failed. "
