The government announced that it will gazette this Friday (25th) with 29 regulations and an order to implement the government fee reduction measures announced earlier to support the business community and reduce the financial burden of the public under the impact of the epidemic.

The government expects that various measures will reduce the government's revenue by a total of 2.048 billion yuan. In addition, the Construction Industry Council’s proposed extension of exemption for construction workers’ registration fees will also be implemented at the same time. It is estimated that the Construction Industry Council will receive about 9 million yuan in revenue.

Exemption of "registered commercial vehicle license fees"

Among the various measures, the "registered commercial vehicle license fee" involves the highest amount. The government will collect 540 million yuan less, benefiting more than 170,000 commercial vehicles; and "reduction of 75% of fresh water charges for non-domestic purposes and "Sewage revenue" involved 340 million yuan, benefiting 250,000 non-residential users; and "industrial and commercial sewage surcharges," involving 250 million yuan, are expected to benefit 31,000 merchants.

The measures benefit aviation, maritime, logistics, retail, catering, agriculture and fisheries, construction, tourism and even the entertainment industry. Most of the exemptions/reduction measures will be implemented for one year and will be implemented next month, while individual measures will be subject to the original After the end of the one-year waiver period, it will be implemented successively.
