18 people were arrested in Rome by the Gdf because they were involved, for various reasons, in the investigation into the authorization racket for street trade with the involvement of public officials, entrepreneurs and trade unionists.
Among the people arrested, also the then head of the 'Discipline' and 'Rotations' Offices of the Productive Activities Department of the Municipality of Rome and his direct collaborator, four members of a trade union association - including Mario and Dino Tredicine, of the historic family known for its activity in the street trading sector of the capital - and a group of seven entrepreneurs and traders.
