The Shin Sports Club organized a football tournament in the western Homs countryside, with the participation of 32 teams from the neighboring villages of Shin.
Club President Malaz Hashem said in a statement to SANA Sports correspondent, “The aim of establishing this tournament is to enhance the societal role of sports clubs, which reflects the true face and main goal of sport,” explaining that the participating teams were divided into eight groups and qualified for the final match, a team with Tessi and Shane, to end in favor of Tessi with penalty kicks.
For his part, Head of the Sports Federation branch in Homs, Faisal Al-Derby pointed out the importance of activating sports clubs because they possess many distinguished sports talents that need support and attention, stressing that the federation seeks, within the available capabilities, to provide support to these clubs and to overcome the difficulties encountered.
