This is the kind of insults Elisabeth, a 22-year-old student from Strasbourg, had to face during her assault by three men on Friday September 18 when she was walking home at the beginning of the afternoon.

The three attackers hit the young woman in the face before fleeing.
Coming out with a black eye, Elisabeth immediately lodged a complaint with the Strasbourg police station.
Of the fifteen witnesses who witnessed the scene, none would have reacted during the attack, nor after.

This is what revolts me the most in history,
" the young woman told France Bleu Alsace.
In a press release published Monday, the departmental direction of public security (DDSP) of Bas-Rhin indicates
"having opened an investigation for violence committed in assembly followed by an incapacity not exceeding 8 days
".

Traveling to Strasbourg this Wednesday, September 23, the Minister for Citizenship, Marlène Schiappa, told our colleagues from France Bleu Alsace that "

The minister immediately went to the central police station in Strasbourg to discuss with the local authorities.

A woman is hit because there are people who are misogynistic, sexist, violent, and who break free from any law and any rule of civility by hitting them,
”she said.

If 1,800 fines have been drawn up for sexist contempt in France since the adoption of the law penalizing street harassment, Marlène Schiappa asked the prefects to double the number of verbalizations.
