Jeff Bezos opens the doors of his first preschool, the Bezos Academy.
The Amazon CEO announced the details in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
It is the first location for a network of free preschools serving children in underserved communities spearheaded by Bezos's philanthropic arm, the Bezos Day One Fund.
The new school, which will serve children ages 3 to 5, will be located in Des Moines, Washington, and will open Oct. 17, according to Day 1 Academies Fund.

The “Montessori-inspired” preschool will operate throughout the year, five days a week, during which “the child will be the client”.
