Theo Müller's
(80)
fighting strength
is legendary.
Once the milk mogul drove environmental activists from the farm with his fist, now he is resolutely defending himself against Die Linke.
Müller - one of the 50 richest Germans - feels personally defamed and threatened.
The background is a statement by the left-wing politician
Sandra Lust,
who raved at a party conference in March about killing the wealthy ("Even if we shot that one percent of the rich, it is still the case that we want to heat up") the outgoing party leader
Bernd Riexinger
(64) replied: "We don't shoot them, we are already using them for useful work."
The sentences echoing the Nazi era caused outrage.
The "Bild" headline: "Left dreams of bloody revolution."
The public prosecutor's office in Kassel saw no reason to start investigations;
for example, the concept of the rich is unspecific.
Müller sees it differently - and is now fighting for the billionaires' honor.
Together with the law firm Verte, he filed a complaint with the General Public Prosecutor's Office in Frankfurt.
If he is unsuccessful with this, he will initiate an enforcement procedure and, if necessary, a constitutional complaint.
He also wants to have Riexinger's immunity as a member of the Bundestag lifted.
"This is hate speech and the call to commit a crime," says Müller's chief legal counsel
Stephan Mechnig
(57): "You can't accept that, and Mr. Müller won't do that either."
