The vehicles of two guards of the prison of La Talaudière (Loire), were set on fire in the parking lot of the establishment on the night of Wednesday 23 to Thursday 24 September, AFP learned from prison and police sources.

A video makes it possible to see from afar the silhouettes of two hooded individuals who, around 2 a.m. in the morning, are heading towards the parking reserved for visitors to the penitentiary center, the same sources said.
The management of the prison administration noted that "
the burnt cars were not parked in the parking lot reserved for staff, closed by a barrier
This type of attack on the premises of the establishment is a first in our establishment,
" Stéphane Perrot, Ufap-Unsa union representative of the La Talaudière remand center, told AFP.
Asking for a reinforcement of the means of video surveillance, the trade unionist announced "
a walkout on Friday morning at the start of service

The two agents filed a complaint Thursday and an investigation was entrusted to the Urban Security of the Loire.
The police also indicated that 13 vehicles were set on fire at a used car salesman in Saint-Etienne on the night of Wednesday to Thursday.
