The corona plague in Israel continues to spread: The
Ministry of Health announced this morning (Thursday) that 6,808 verified carriers of the virus were found yesterday using 54,364 tests.
Since the outbreak of the plague in Israel, 1,335 people have died.
In order to combat the disease of the corona virus in the country, earlier today, the government approved the imposition of a closure starting tomorrow.
The updated data published this morning show that the rate of positive for the virus in the tests remains high and stands at about 12.5 percent.
The rate of doubling of patients with the disease stands at once every ten days.
Prime Minister Netanyahu on the need to tighten restrictions
As of this morning, 1,375 patients in Corona are hospitalized in hospitals, with half of them, 667 hospitalized, defined as critically ill, of whom 164 are respirators.
The total number of patients in the country standing is 206,332, of which 148,075 have already recovered.
The number of active patients as of this morning stands at 56,901.
As mentioned, the government had earlier approved the decisions of the Corona Cabinet.
According to the government decision, the economy will be closed from Friday except for essential businesses.
Prayers and demonstrations will be held in capsules of 20 people within the one-mile distance from home.
The prayers on Yom Kippur will be held according to an outline dictated by the Ministry of Health.
