The current regulation in Bavaria provides that everyone can be tested for a corona infection free of charge - even without symptoms and without proven contact with a person at risk.
"A test is particularly useful for risk groups, for people who work in nursing or childcare or who have a lot of contact with others in the food retail sector or in other industries," emphasizes spokesman Robert Stangl.
“Anyone who wants to be tested voluntarily and has no symptoms can book an appointment directly at the test center.
People who the health department classifies as contact persons for infected people are asked to smear anyway. "
The rules
Attention: Anyone who shows signs of illness must first contact their family doctor.
This then decides whether to carry out a test himself or refer the patient to the test center.
Since there are other illnesses and only a doctor can issue a sick note, contact with a doctor is of crucial importance, says Stangl.
In this regard, the District Office would like to thank the medical community in the district "for the valuable cooperation that has been achieved so far and will continue to do so in the future," emphasizes Stangl.
The appointment allocation
Appointments are made online: The respective person registers on the website www.coronatest-fs.de (activated from Friday afternoon), enters the requested data, makes an appointment and then receives a confirmation by e-mail or SMS.
Appointments are always activated one week in advance.
On site at the test center, you can scan a QR code with your smartphone, enter the necessary data for the laboratory and finally receive a password with which you can later query the test result when a corresponding email has been received.
This should normally be available after two to three days.
If you don't have an email address, the result will be sent to you by post.
