Hundreds of people are protesting tonight (Thursday) in Paris Square in Jerusalem against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, near his residence.
The demonstration takes place after the government decided tonight to impose a general closure in the country, and in parallel with the discussions taking place in the committees and the Knesset plenum on the approval of the outline of the demonstrations during the closure.
The demonstrators brought chairs with them to the area of the square, and placed them at a distance from each other, in an attempt to maintain the restrictions.
They also handed out two-meter-long ribbons, and on the public address system they were asked to keep their distance and listen to the ushers.
