According to the comedian, the ban on visits to the nursing home where Paul Semhoun lived accelerated “his decline” until his death on September 12.

The revolt against the government's sanitary measures is increasingly gaining ground in show biz.

After Nicolas Bedos, the comedian Élie Semoun in turn pushes a rant against the policy of the executive.

While addressing a nod to the director and the controversy he has sparked, the comedian more particularly evokes the question of nursing homes.

"

Reading the new measures makes me angry,"

says Élie Semoun on social networks.

It is very painful for me to write it but the confinement killed my father.

I just write what I think (and I'm not the only one) I don't want to start any debate, because it would hurt me to “involve” his memory in a controversy now obsolete for me.

"

But I must make it public that the mandatory stopping of our visits to his nursing home for two months has accelerated its decline, already weakened by Alzheimer's,

testifies the comedian.

It is almost criminal to prevent our elders from being surrounded by the love of their loved ones.

Because a “I love you”, a kiss, a gesture are better than the loneliness in which the fear of this virus plunges us, for reasons which escape everyone ... and which kill our economy, our dear culture, our social relations and our parents.

Paul Sehmoun died at 88 on September 12.

“With my sister we said goodbye to her, that we love her.

Thank you for your outbursts of tenderness, he deserved it, ”

he explained to his fans that he kept regularly informed of his father's state of health.

This is not the first time that Élie Semoun has mobilized to highlight the problems facing nursing homes.

On April 14, in full confinement, the comedian had already expressed his fears on social networks concerning the material difficulties encountered by the health establishment.
