Today, US police arrested 24 people in Kentucky as anti-racism protests began.
Reuters reported that Louisville, Kentucky, police arrested 24 people, including state representative Attica Scott, during their participation in the protests, which continued for the second day in a row, to denounce the lenient sentence issued against a policeman who killed an African-American citizen, Briona Tyler, in her apartment last March.
The ruling, issued on Wednesday, sparked widespread criticism as protests renewed in Louisville and other US cities and states.
Since the murder of African American George Floyd at the hands of the police on the 25th of last May, the United States of America has witnessed large protests against racism and police violence.
