Vice President of the Free Patriotic Movement in Lebanon for National Action Affairs Tariq Al-Khatib stressed the necessity of activating the Lebanese-Syrian relations in order to guarantee the interest of the two countries.
Al-Khatib stressed during his meeting today with the Syrian Ambassador in Lebanon Ali Abdul-Karim, during his visit to the head of a delegation from the movement to the headquarters of the Syrian embassy, the importance of communication and deepening coordination between the two countries, expressing his hope that Syria will emerge from its current crisis.
For his part, Ambassador Abdel Karim stressed the importance of the strategic relationship between Syria and Lebanon, stressing the need to combat terrorism, which calls for more coordination and cooperation between the Lebanese and Syrian armies.
