" condition after undergoing surgery on Friday, September 25 in Sao Paulo for the removal of a kidney stone from his bladder, the presidency said in a statement.

He had already announced in early September that he had to be operated on to extract a calculus "

".
Jair Bolsonaro, 65, has had his fifth operation in two years.
The previous four were linked to the knife attack he suffered in 2018 during his election campaign, with multiple intestinal perforations.
In July, he was infected with Covid-19, but eventually recovered without experiencing serious symptoms.
