Today, the Brazilian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 31,911 new cases of the emerging coronavirus in the last twenty-four hours, in addition to 729 deaths due to the disease.
According to Reuters, the ministry data indicated that Brazil had recorded more than 4.6 million cases of the virus since the start of the outbreak, while the official death toll rose to 140,537.
