The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced that 831 deaths and 32,817 new cases of the new Corona virus were recorded in the past twenty-four hours.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying that the country has so far recorded more than 4.6 million cases of the virus since the start of the outbreak, making it the third most affected country in the world by the pandemic in terms of the number of infections, after the United States and India.
About 140,000 people have died in Brazil due to the disease, which is ranked second among countries in the world in terms of the number of deaths from the virus, after the United States.
