The Ministry of Health updated today (Friday) that 37,525 people were diagnosed in Corona last week.
The figure is about 23% higher than the week before, when 30,391 blue people were diagnosed with the virus.
This is a sharp rise, continuing the trend of recent weeks.
Also, 209 people died this week - a record for the outbreak of the plague - and their total number stands at 1,378 people.
In addition, there was an increase in the number of respirators: the figure increased by 14 from last week, to 167. For comparison, in the week before that 19 respirators were added.
The number of active patients is 60,786 - an increase of 14,416 from last week, and 1,338 patients are hospitalized - an increase of 148 patients from the previous week, of which 669 patients are severe (577 last week).
