The Nanterre court, seized by a former employee of the National Rally who asked him to examine whether the party was in default of payment, closed the case on Friday September 25 without ruling on the merits, after the withdrawal of the applicant.

This former assistant at the headquarters of the RN in Nanterre demanded in court 15,000 euros in compensation that the party should have paid him.
The former employee withdrew his request after receiving the sum, according to his lawyer Noémie Le Bouard.
The procedure was therefore definitively ended during a brief hearing behind closed doors on Friday, the Nanterre court confirmed to AFP.
Conviction to industrial tribunal
The case began in March 2019: the RN had sued his former assistant, initially recruited on a fixed-term contract, for violation of a confidentiality clause and obtained reason on the merits.
But at the same time, the industrial tribunal had ordered the party to pay more than 20,000 euros in compensation (overtime, paid leave, etc.) to the young man after having reclassified his contract as a CDI and the end of his mission in "
dismissal without real and serious cause
".
The RN, however, had only paid a minimal part of the sum and the young man had taken his ex-employer to court to claim his due through a "
seizure-attribution
" procedure so that the funds were taken directly from a party account.
But the bank replied in January that there was only a little more than 3,000 euros in this account, according to a document consulted by AFP.
The young man had therefore asked the court to "
note the cessation of payments
" of the RN, "
that its recovery (was) manifestly impossible
" and to "
pronounce the opening of a judicial liquidation procedure
" in order to be able to recover his compensation. .
"
The court considered that there was no reason to study the financial situation of the National Rally and to know if it was in a possible situation of insolvency
", estimated the treasurer and lawyer of RN Wallerand de Saint -Just after the hearing, qualifying the affair of "
balloon made by a certain number of journalists
" which "
deflates
".
In March, he argued that, having "
financial difficulties
", he was paying some "
installment debts
".
But on Friday, he assured AFP that the party was "a
thousand miles from cessation of payment
."
The party of Marine Le Pen has nevertheless been financially weakened for several years.
He obtained in June, in an amicable agreement, the rescheduling of a loan of 9.6 million euros contracted with a Russian company in 2014.
The debt of Marine Le Pen's party reached 24.4 million euros at the end of 2018, including 15 million due in less than a year, according to the latest published accounts.
