Regarding some people’s concern that the increase in the minimum wage will cause a ripple effect, Huang Guo believes that it is just an excuse. At present, only about 20,000 workers receive the minimum wage, and its role in guaranteeing the minimum wage is becoming less and less. Many types of work have an hourly wage of 50 to 60 yuan. He hopes that the government can balance the interests of all parties and reach a consensus.
