The working groups on the community development concept, which were only able to meet in small numbers due to Corona, have presented their first results.
Mittelstetten
- During a more than three-hour round of introductions in the conference room, the speakers of the small groups presented a kind of inventory as well as plans and wishes for the future.
The group for leisure and local recreation is relatively satisfied with the sports on offer in the community.
With the SV, there is a fitness and indoor sports club, the Grashoppers as recreational footballers, and three horse farms.
Despite the choir community, the cultural offer is considered rather poor.
An oft-mentioned request was for a multipurpose room larger than the council meeting room.
The room should be able to be used for several days without having to clean up every evening.
Bus connection is satisfactory
In terms of mobility, the bus connections are considered satisfactory.
For commuters, however, a journey time of 25 minutes to the train station in Mammendorf is not very attractive.
In addition, cycle paths remain a big issue.
The planned one on the B2 has failed for years due to the lack of a reason.
And the transport to the town next to the county road approved by the local council will probably be discussed again.
In the case of “on-site support for the site”, so the topic of another group, the basic supply from the bread shop is considered to be secured.
Apparently there is a need for a farm shop.
A potato or vegetable box with self-service and self-payment would also be possible.
There seems to be no lack of neighborhood help so far.
The last Corona help offered was not used once.
The working group responsible for energy and climate protection envisions more community solar roofs and grants for private photovoltaic systems.
The chewing gum machine is to be preserved
In a working group (kindergarten and school) the younger ones had the say.
After a walk in the village, the after-school children realized that they would rather look for a little adventure in the forest than romp around in a playground "guarded".
Also important: the receipt of the chewing gum machine at the Dosch-Stadel.
Two working groups - “Village Design and Feeling at Home” and “Accessibility and Security” - will not report until October 2nd due to the holiday.
The planning office, which is involved in an advisory capacity on the community development concept, will then summarize the first results.
It has not yet been determined whether workshops on the four original topics will take place again or whether the work will continue in smaller groups.
