The Russian-Syrian Business Council, in partnership with the Russian Association for the Development of Friendship Relations with Syria, distributed today food baskets to about a thousand families affected by terrorism in Homs Governorate.

The Chairman of the Council, Dr. Luay Youssef, in a statement to SANA's correspondent, indicated that this event is being held under the title “To the city of Homs with all love from Russia,” indicating that it includes the distribution of foodstuffs in the amount of 54 packed and packed tons.

For her part, Hoda Al-Agha, General Coordinator of the Council’s Charitable Activities in Syria, indicated that the beneficiaries were chosen in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to ensure that the aid reaches the most needy and affected groups as a result of the terrorist war on Syria.

The young Farah Fahd is a volunteer in the activities of “All the love from Russia for Syria”. She indicated that she is responsible for organizing and checking every name that comes from every honorable family. Each of them has a mission.

For their part, a number of those who received the aid expressed their thanks to the owners of the initiative that would reduce the burden on families in light of the circumstances imposed by the terrorist war and the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria.
