In Yau Ma Hom Village, Kwai Chung, there have been reports of at least 3 thieves stealing women’s and children’s underwear in the past two years. The villagers spontaneously installed closed-circuit television surveillance and organized regular patrols by strong men. However, they waited for a long time and still found nothing. .

In the early morning of today (26th), a man copied a small road into the village. Some villagers recognized his appearance through the "eyes of the sky", which looked very similar to the underwear thief. He immediately notified the male villagers on patrol, and the inside and outside were closed and captured.

The suspect with half-length hair was not seized of any underwear, but the police officers found drugs and inhaling equipment on his body and arrested him.

At about 1 am, a male villager in Yau Ma Hom village reported the case, saying that a thief suspected of stealing underwear was captured, and the two sides were once entangled.

During the chaos, the suspect suffered minor injuries to his eyes and hands. He refused to be sent to hospital after being treated on the spot.

The police officers did not find the stolen stolen goods on the suspect, but found suspected drugs and ingesting equipment, and arrested him on suspicion of "loitering" and "hiding drugs" and "possession of tools for drug use".

The village civil servants revealed that in June 2018, July 2019 and early this month, women and children's underwear from households were stolen.

After the underpants thief appeared, the villagers had spontaneously installed "Sky Eye" surveillance, and a team of strong male villagers patrolled regularly. Last month, the culprit was photographed.

According to the clips provided by the villagers, one of the village houses was covered with clothes, and a man with half-length hair walked outside the house and turned back soon. After choosing from the left and right of the underwear rack, he took away a piece of underwear, and Shi Ran left.

After repeated thefts, the villagers have paid more attention to the characteristics of the suspect.

At the time of the incident today, a villager connected a 55-inch large CCTV and 29-inch screen from his home, and discovered that the man involved entered the village from Yau Ma Hom Road, but the road was not the way for ordinary villagers to enter the village, and its appearance was very similar to that of the culprits. Several male villagers on patrol were notified.

Everyone intercepted the suspect and stopped him immediately. The two sides entangled, and the suspect was finally subdued by joint efforts. It is reported that someone directly admitted the crime, but the previous stolen goods have long been abandoned.

Underwear thieves appeared from time to time in village houses in Kwai Tsing District.

Among them, Dawangxia Village, Yantianjiao Village, Lantian Village and Xinwu Village, collectively known as the "four villages in Tsing Yi", have been stolen many times.

On the 22nd of last month, a shirtless bust thief appeared in Dawangxia Village. The police quickly arrested a 45-year-old transport worker half a day later and suspected him to be related to at least 4 similar cases in the district; however, some villagers believed that the arrested man was of the age of the shirtless thief. There are discrepancies, I believe there are many people committing crimes in the four villages of Tsing Yi.

The thieves in the four villages of Tsing Yi are rampant. At least three of them steal the Bra thief and commit crimes.
