Australia joined Latin American countries in demanding that all countries be able to obtain vaccines against the Coronavirus when they are produced in the future.
In a speech to the United Nations General Assembly held via video, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison warned last night, according to what AFP quoted by AFP that history will be a strict judgment at a time when the United States is resisting the idea of cooperation around the world on the issue of future vaccines against Corona.
Morrison said, "When it comes to the vaccine, Australia's position is very clear ... it is imperative that any party that reaches it share it," stressing that it is a global moral responsibility.
Leaders from Latin America had previously called on the major powers to show solidarity to overcome the Covid-19 epidemic by providing access to future vaccines for the virus and international loans without interest.
Latin America recorded about 9 million injuries and more than 330,000 deaths in Corona within six months, according to a census by the agency based on official sources.
Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Mexico and Argentina are among the ten countries most affected by the Corona virus.
