The Ministry of Health has now (Saturday evening) published an up-to-date picture of the spread of the corona virus in Israel.
According to the data, ten people died at midnight.
This brought the number of victims to 1,417.
Yesterday, 8,221 carriers were identified in 61,101 tests.
To date, 3,754 carriers have been identified in 23,387 new tests.

In terms of hospitals, 1,439 people are hospitalized, of whom 728 are in critical condition.
200 of them are connected to respirators - this is a real record.
The number of carriers identified since the onset of the disease stands at 226,586 people, of whom 67,628 are defined as active blue.
In fact, yesterday the percentage of carriers from all tests stood at 13.8 percent.
Currently, the infection rate today is 16.6 percent.
In both cases, it is a continuation of the upward trend in the percentage of carriers, a reality that indicates an intensification of the virus outbreak in the country.
The doubling percentage now stands at once every 9 days as of yesterday.
The number of newly verified outside the prominent spreading areas is 6,764 people.
The number of medical staff members who are in very high isolation: these are 4,902 staff members, of whom 1,118 are nurses and 565 are doctors.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Netanyahu released a video referring to the high morbidity rate. "Mistakes were made along the way, including the decision to open the education system," he said. He called on worshipers not to go to synagogues on Yom Kippur.
