London - Sana
Thousands of demonstrators gathered today in Trafalgar Square, in the center of the British capital, London, to reject the imposed and strict laws of closures and spatial distancing by the government to prevent the spread of the new Corona virus.
The AP reported that the demonstrators criticized the government for applying the closure rules without the approval of Parliament, demanding what they called “not to promote fear and distort the facts.”
The British government had previously imposed a ban on entering bars and restaurants across the country, along with stricter laws for wearing masks and increasing fines for non-compliance, in addition to prohibiting most gatherings of more than six people.
Britain leads the European countries with the number of deaths due to Corona, as nearly 42,000 deaths were confirmed, and the number of injuries rose to 423,236.
