Pleadings

Richard Berry returns in a show that has proven itself, according to the great pleadings of the tenors of the bar, carefully reconstituted by Matthieu Aron.

The direction of Eric Théobald leaves a great margin of freedom to the actor, who excels in this exercise.

Théâtre Libre (formerly Comedia)

, (10th).

From September 24.

CONCERTS

Pink Floyd, live at Pompei, 1972

In 1972, the group Pink Floyd, composed of David Gilmour, Rogers Water, Richard Wright and Nick Mason, delivered a breathtaking performance in the immense amphitheater of Pompeii, emptied of its audience.

A moving dialogue between the atmospheric sound universe of the group and this vestige steeped in history.

To be discovered in the Auditorium of the Grand Palais, on the occasion of the immersive “Pompeii” exhibition.

At the Auditorium of the Grand Palais

, 3, av.

of General-Eisenhower (8th).

September 27 at 2:30 p.m.

Marie-Flore at the Cigale

The Covid has put the brakes on his tour, but Marie-Flore is not the type to capitulate.

While the postponed concerts parade, the young woman, faithful to the image of her album Braquage (2019), intends to invest the scene of the Cicada, even if it means playing in front of a seated and masked audience.

Two surprise guests will accompany him to distill his solar pop and his unfiltered texts (Casse-toi, Tout ou rien).

At La Cigale

, 120, bd de Rochechouart (18th).

September 28 at 8 p.m.

Marie-Flore resumes her tour.

Alexandre Tabaste.

La Défense Jazz Festival

The 43rd edition of the jazz festival installed on the forecourt of La Défense welcomes in particular the musicians Ibrahim Maalouf, Cheick Tidiane Seck, the Belmondo Quintet, the saxophonist Sophie Alour and the jazzman with rock sounds Guillaume Perret, chosen in 2018 by the astronaut Thomas Pesquet to develop the soundtrack for the film 16 sunrises, which recounted his journey into orbit.

La Défense Jazz Festival

, (92).

Until September 27.

Arman Méliès

Sponsored by Alain Bashung from his first solo trials at the beginning of this century, Arman Méliès leads an exciting and demanding career.

If he accompanied Julien Doré on the guitar for a long time, the forty-something is never as good as when he is at his own service.

Here he is presenting his new project, an impressive trilogy of albums exploring a fantasized America.

After two instrumental volumes, the third volume, Laurel Canyon, sung, will be available next January.

This does not prevent you from already discovering its contours in concert.

Théâtre de la Ville, Espace Cardin

, 1 avenue Gabriel (8th).

At 20 o 'clock.

CLASSIC

Tharaud & Devieilhe

Between rediscoveries and great classics like the forgotten Ariettes by Debussy, the accomplice duo Sabine Devieilhe and Alexandre Tharaud here pay tribute to French melody.

Unsurprisingly, the alliance of these two personalities with a commonly gentle and warm sensitivity works wonders in this repertoire.

Whether in the irresistible youthful melody Night of Stars where Tharaud's playing is diluted under the airy voice of Devieilhe into a deliciously pearly playing, or this bewitching and languid C by Poulenc which takes the guts.

Do not miss.

TCE

, September 28.

Jean-Baptiste Millot.

Royal "French Bœuf"

A square of high-class French ladies carries this back-to-school concert by the Orchester de chambre de Paris, where the exquisite voices of Jodie Devos and Marie Perbost at Gounod and Donizetti will respond to the mischievous trumpet of Lucienne Renaudin and the finely nuanced piano of Marie-Ange Nguci at Mozart and Humel.

All under the baton of another woman: Marzena Diakun (assistant conductor of the Philharmonic orchestra).

TCE

, September 26.

DANCE

The Bolero

Dominique Brun is preparing a program on Nijinska.

She goes back to Noces, which we will see later and imagines Un Boléro.

The interpreter is François Chaignaud, in a large skirt, perched on the table.

Ravel's score is given in a rewrite with chorus.

The choreography makes a detour through the flamenco of the Argentinian and the butoh of Kapo Ono, who said he was literally inhabited by her.

AB

At the

Philharmonie de Paris

as part of the Festival d'Automne on September 26 and 27.
