A permanent servant left his military vehicle unattended in the Palestinian Authority yesterday (Friday) while it was being driven, and the vehicle was stolen while his six-year-old son was sitting inside.

It was only at the end of a chase that the thief spotted the child, and dropped him off on the side of the road unharmed.

Details of the incident were handed over to the police and the commanders of the Judea and Samaria Division for further treatment.

A preliminary investigation conducted by the division revealed that the permanent man stopped in the morning near a store on Road 446 near the village of a-Luban, Area A, which is prohibited by law, and got out of his vehicle while his son was sitting in the back seat and the engine was running.

When he entered the store, a car with Palestinians stopped there.

One of them ran towards the military vehicle - and began a wild ride.

At that point, the permanent servant noticed what was happening, and ran after the vehicle with the locals, shouting about the boy's presence in the back seat.

After a few hundred meters, the driver noticed a boy sitting behind him, dropped him off at the side of the road and fled to one of the Palestinian villages in the area.

At the end of the incident, the permanent man needed medical treatment following the habitual chase, but he and his son were not harmed beyond that.

The thieves used a sophisticated method that they called the "legend" at the Border Police - a lot for the sale of cars. And the thieves were sent to him with the duplicate key.
