Trump will announce the Supreme Court nominee tonight
Amy Connie Barrett, a conservative federal judge appointed by Trump in 2017, is expected to be the replacement for liberal Ginsburg.
Democrats fear for violating the rights of women and immigrants, but Republicans are determined to approve her Senate appointment before Nov. 3 and increase the majority in the Supreme Court to six Conservatives versus just 3 Liberals.

US President Donald Trump will announce tonight (Sunday) the candidate he intends to appoint to the Supreme Court.
It is expected to be Conservative Judge Amy Connie Barrett, who will take the place of Liberal Judge Ruth Byder Ginsburg, who died last week at the age of 87.
Her appointment, just over a month before the Republican presidential election, needs the approval of the Republican-controlled Senate.
Trump is urging his party members to approve the appointment before November 3, even though they prevented it from Democratic President Barack Obama in a similar scenario four years ago, claiming it was an election year.
If the appointment is approved, the majority of Conservatives in the Supreme Court will increase to six to three, all in appointments for life.
Trump has already appointed two conservative judges throughout his first term.

The 48-year-old Barrett, a favorite of conservative circles, is one of the Republican president's main support bases.
Trump appointed her a judge in a federal court of appeals in Chicago in 2017, and she may be a crucial weight in future rulings regarding the right to abortion.
This is of great concern to the liberal organizations, which fear harm to their achievements from the last decades.

Trump, who met with Barrett this week, believes the Supreme Court will be required to decide the election, something that happened once in American history, in 2000. The president said "it is important that we have nine judges," promoting the baseless allegations of widespread counterfeiting by mail. A new phenomenon in American politics.
