Aircraft belonging to the Turkish regime launched attacks today targeting villages in the Zakho district in northern Iraq.
The Iraqi news agency INA stated that Turkish warplanes bombed the outskirts of a number of villages in Batifa sub-district of Zakho district, noting that a missile landed in the village of Ruissi near a house and caused great material damage without any casualties.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish regime forces have repeatedly violated the sanctity of Iraqi lands and were stationed at the end of 2015 in the Bashiqa area near the city of Mosul in northern Iraq, which was confirmed by the Iraqi government that it constitutes aggression and a violation of the sovereignty of Iraq and in violation of the rules of international law and demanded the withdrawal of Turkish forces.
