The Hong Kong Taoist Federation Yuen Yuen College Shiweijiao Primary School Marching Percussion Orchestra was established in 2017 and has more than 20 members.

The purpose of establishment: to improve music performance skills, broaden horizons, establish good personal discipline and cooperative spirit.

The progress of the orchestra is very satisfactory, and the students are very involved. In the first year of its establishment, it has been invited by the association to participate in the marching wind festival "Drum Battle" organized by the Hong Kong Marching Band Association. Students demonstrate the results of hard practice, and can exchange and learn with other teams through visits and observations, broaden their horizons and gain experience.

Due to its outstanding performance, the "Marching Percussion Orchestra" was developed into a "Marching Orchestra" in 2019, with different wind instruments such as cornet, trumpet, tubule Euphonium, and thick tubule Euphonium.

During the process, parents and students enthusiastically supported the orchestra’s various competitions and performances, and the students were full of a sense of success and belonging.
