A large fire broke out today (Sunday) in the yard of an oil plant in the Miloot complex, in the industrial area south of Acre.
Firefighters who were called to the scene are working to put out the blaze that has spread toward trucks and buildings.
As a result of the fire, the police blocked traffic on a number of roads, including Road 4 heading south and north in the area, and Road 22 heading north.
Heavy smoke is felt throughout the Krayot and at its peak, the fire was also observed from the Carmel ridge in Haifa.
