In the vicinity of Ha Hua Shan Village in Tsuen Wan, scalpers fell into the water channel again.
At 8 o'clock this (27th) evening, an adult scalper weighing about 1,300 pounds was found by residents falling into the waterway of Tai Lam Chung. The hip was injured and could not return to the road.
Rescuers arrived, fearing that the scalpers would go crazy and hurt people. They did not dare to act rashly. After that, they notified the Fisheries and Conservation Department to send a veterinarian and brought an anesthesia gun to the scene to assist.
At about 11 o'clock in the evening, a female veterinarian fired an anesthesia gun and hit the left thigh of the ox. After 10 minutes, the effect gradually became effective. Unconscious and collapsed, about 20 fire and fishery and Conservation Department staff worked together to pull the ox back to the ground with a rope and net, and used a board to transport it to the truck and take it away.
During this period, the cattle were suspected of being incontinent under the influence of anesthetics. An AFCD officer was sprayed with excrement and had to take off his shirt.

Similar incidents occurred in Xiahuashan Village from time to time. On the 2nd of last month, a one-year-old bison accidentally fell into the waterway near Xizhulin Temple. Firefighters and Fisheries and Conservation Department personnel rescued the calves and then used ropes to pull the bulls. The loop surface will be released into the wild after simple treatment.
In January of the previous year, a one-year-old bison also fell into a waterway nearly one meter deep. Rescue personnel, together with nearly 8 people, pulled the cattle onto the ground and put them in the wild.
In October 2016, three scalpers were trapped in a water diversion accident. As two of them were too big, the staff of Ai Xie and the Fishery and Conservation Department needed to inject anesthetics for them, and 14 people worked together to pull the cattle into the water.
