The Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch in Hama governorate distributed 582 food rations to families affected by fires in Masyaf and Al-Ghab areas.
In a statement to the SANA reporter, Mohamed Wati, the director of the branch, said that food aid was distributed to families whose homes, agricultural crops or livelihoods were damaged by the fires that broke out in the villages of Masyaf and Al-Ghab in the villages of Hazour, Ain Halakim and Wadi Al-Ayoun in the Masyaf region, where 500 food rations were distributed. 82 food parcels were distributed in the villages of Jurin and Al-Safsafa in Al-Ghab.
He pointed out that preparations are underway to distribute 450 additional baskets to the people of Al-Freekeh village in the Al-Ghab region, whose agricultural crops have been severely affected by the fires.
