A motorcyclist was injured in an accident in Oberschleißheim on Saturday evening.
There is no trace of the car driver who caused the accident.
Oberschleißheim - According to the police, the 40-year-old motorcyclist drove south on his BMW machine on Sonnenstrasse. At Grün, the man from Oberschleißheim wanted to pass the intersection with the B471 (Dachauer Straße) when he met a blue car from Dachauer Straße that wanted to turn left into Sonnenstraße and had apparently overlooked him. The car took the right of way and the motorcyclist fell. The 40-year-old was only slightly injured when he hit the road, but his motorcycle was totaled around 2000 euros. The driver of the car fled the accident. Witnesses who can provide information are asked to report to the Oberschleissheim police station, Tel. 089/315 64-0.
