Former Malian Foreign Minister Moctar Ouane was appointed Prime Minister on Sunday by transitional president Bah Ndaw, according to a decree read live on public television ORTM.
Moctar Ouane, 64, Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2004 to 2011 under the presidency of Amadou Toumani Touré, "is appointed Prime Minister" according to the brief decree read by the Deputy Secretary General of the Presidency, Sékou Traoré.
