A 24-year-old has to answer in court for attempted manslaughter
He had deliberately hit his uncle in his car in Ottobrunn
The background was probably a dispute over money
Ottobrunn / Munich
- The car as a weapon: For a 24-year-old from Munich, it was a short-circuit act with serious consequences.
A year ago he got into an argument with his uncle in Ottobrunn.
It was about money.
The uncle gave him a wad, put him in a headlock and finally disappeared across the terrace into a green area.
There the nephew snapped at him.
Now he has to answer for attempted manslaughter before the Munich I district court.
Victim himself is in custody
The 24-year-old had turned himself in to the police.
As his victim was led into the courtroom, tears came to him.
The uncle had practically been a surrogate father for him and had raised him.
The victim himself is also in custody for fraud and assault.
The uncle blamed himself for the argument.
He started the scuffle.
“Why did you argue?” Asked the presiding judge Elisabeth Ehrl.
“I don't know myself,” replied the victim.
"They are said to have taken money," said the judge, "withdrew with the card," she added, and then the others would have wanted to know where it was.
The uncle conceded everything.
Victim has to take pain medication to this day
Then the action would have shifted outside.
The uncle marched away, the nephew grabbed a car and drove towards him.
When the uncle looked around, he found himself on the car and crashed into the street from there.
He suffered a traumatic brain injury, a twelve centimeter long crush and tear wound on the back of the head and a fracture of the third and fourth thoracic vertebrae.
The lower fracture was unstable, plates were inserted into the victim.
To this day he has to take pills for the persistent pain.
Numerous relatives followed his testimony in the auditorium.
The tears flowed.
Since the uncle is in custody, many had not seen the man for a long time.
The process is ongoing.
