With horns, Argentine flags and posters that alluded to the attack of Kirchnerism against Justice, a caravan of cars arrived this Saturday at the house of the Minister of the Supreme Court, Ricardo Lorenzetti, in the Santa Fe city of Rafaela.

The protest occurred this Saturday, three days before the highest court

must deal with an "extraordinary agreement"

if it gives rise to the appeals presented by the three judges removed by Cristina Kirchner from the Senate: Pablo Bertuzzi, Leopoldo Bruglia and Germán Castelli, who investigated the former President in different corruption cases.

The caravan traveled the north side of Santa Fe Boulevard around 4 in the afternoon and made itself heard, drawing the attention of the residents of the city of Santa Fe.

Then, they turned left onto an internal street until they took Boulevard Yrigoyen to the south.

In addition to Argentine flags, posters with claims for the Court to intervene and also proclamations against the Government were pasted on the cars.

"Gentlemen judges, stop violating the Constitution", "Alberto and Cristina, out of Argentina" and "Wake up Argentines, no to impunity K", were some of the slogans.

Lorenzetti's house is located in a residential neighborhood in front of the Bosquecito Besaccia and a few meters from the Rafaelino Aerodrome, local media reported, adding that the magistrate usually spends weekends there.

The one that the Court must deal with next Tuesday in an "extraordinary agreement" the appeals presented by the magistrates investigating Cristina Kirchner, with transfers revoked by the Senate.

Last Tuesday, the President of the Court, Carlos Rosenkrantz, called for an "extraordinary agreement" for the day after tomorrow, with the purpose of the court to issue itself on the proposals of Bruglia, Bertuzzi and Castelli.

"The Court has the responsibility, in cases like this one, to give certainty to the citizens about the procedure that will be imposed on the proposals of the judges involved. As I said a week ago, the Court has the final authority when constitutionality is at stake. of the acts of other powers of the State ", indicated Rosenkrantz.

The resolution had a much more political than legal significance: the Court will have to deal with the request for per saltum with which the displaced judges tried to prevent this move.

The court can reject it, admit it and even (less likely) resolve it by giving an answer to the judges, the Senate and the whole of society.

This call generated on Friday the reaction of President Alberto Fernández, who criticized the Court, pointing especially to

Rosenkrantz

for hastening this debate on the removal of judges.

What is he looking for? He wondered.

"What is the dilemma that the president of the Court has, what is he looking for? I ask myself because really anyone who has studied law knows that

this is a legal scandal

," Fernández questioned.

And he added: "It draws my attention and

worries me about the comments that come to me

, about things that are seen inside the Court, it worries me enormously, because the truth is that the only thing we are doing is reestablishing a lost order in the Previous government ".

As a result of this controversy, last Wednesday the so-called torch march was held in front of the Courts, in which hundreds of people supported the judges removed from their positions and protested against the Government.

The motto of the meeting,

 "A light for the Republic",

added to the claim the rejection of the judicial reform promoted by the President.

Next Tuesday, both Lorenzetti and the other four Supreme Court ministers will be the ones to define the appeal presented by Bruglia, Bertuzzi and Castelli, who fight not to be displaced from their positions in the Buenos Aires Chamber and the Oral Court No. 7 by Comodoro Py.

The Court will have to analyze the requests of the three judges to grant them the "

jump by instance" or "per saltum"

, which implies the direct intervention of the highest court in the matter of substance, that is, if their transfers are adjusted or not to the appointment process provided for in the Constitution.

In March 2018, Bruglia and Bertuzzi were transferred to the Federal Oral Court 4 of the City of Buenos Aires, in the first instance, and to Room I of the Federal Criminal Chamber, in the second, while Castelli passed from the Federal Oral Court 3 of San Martín, province of Buenos Aires, to TOF 7 of the City of Buenos Aires.

When the Council's review passed to the Senate, the main question from the ruling party legislators was that they did not agree to these functions and summoned the magistrates to offer their point of view, although they preferred not to.

Kirchnerism seized on that to suspend the transfers and return the judges to their places of origin.

The Court will then have to evaluate whether the arguments of the three magistrates to request the intervention are valid, if there is a violation of the stability of the judges and if, as they maintain and denounce, there is an

"impunity plan"

behind the measure. taken by the Council of the Magistracy and the Senate.
