Protests against racism and police brutality continued in Portland, Oregon, USA, while police arrested many demonstrators while suppressing a gathering of them in one of the state's cities.
The Associated Press reported that demonstrators gathered in the largest city in Oregon near the Mark Ohtfield Court, denouncing hatred, racism and violence. Some protesters threw rocks, fireworks and cans of drinks at the police.
The United States has been gripped by protests against racism and police brutality since the strangling of African American George Floyd by a police officer in Minneapolis last May.
