The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Rural Damascus seized a number of violating fuel stations and a plant for the production of consoles inside that contained expired and corrupt materials.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Rural Damascus, Louay Al-Salem, stated in a statement to SANA that three fuel seizures were organized against fuel stations in Maarabah, Qudsaya and Qara, for violating them by selling gasoline and diesel at an extra price.
In addition, a plant for the production of consoles was seized in the Kiswa area, containing 2,500 kilograms of pickles and 100 kilograms of expired grape leaves showing signs of mold and an unpleasant smell, according to Al-Salem.
Al-Salem affirmed that the necessary legal measures have been taken against the violators and the seized quantity of materials has been seized, and the seizure has been transferred to the appropriate court in the first place.
