During Yom Kippur, police distributed 3,922 reports of various violations of regulations to combat the corona virus.

According to police, since yesterday (Sunday) until today at 17:00, 2,789 reports were distributed to people who left their homes for a prohibited purpose, 968 reports were distributed for citizens who did not wear a mask on their faces, 44 reports were recorded for insulators and 60 Additional reports were distributed to people who stayed in a place open to the public or in a business whose activities were banned or who stayed at the beach.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Health Minister Yuli Edelstein on Tuesday gave up on the attempt to approve the government's emergency regulations designed to reduce demonstrations.

Instead, the government will try to amend the Corona Law that allows demonstrations in the Knesset, thus limiting them in another way.

This means that except for demonstrations, which according to the current law have no limit on the number of participants, all gatherings throughout Israel are prohibited.

In addition to the distribution of reports, Magen David Adom and the hospitals have treated 2,360 cases in the last day, with 1,818 of them being evacuated for further treatment in the hospitals. 305 people fainted due to the heavy load, an increase of about 15% compared to last year. People were injured and needed first aid due to various riding accidents, a figure that is half as low as last year, in light of the closure and the high corona morbidity.

Meanwhile, a 54-year-old pedestrian was killed by a car in the village of Hilaf in the north of the country.

A further 17 people were injured in other road accidents that occurred during the last day.

136 mothers were transferred to hospitals, two of whom were born by Magen David Adom teams in Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh.
