"Yesterday in the late afternoon a mega fight broke out, all against all, at the Coop in Crema, in the Gran Rondò shopping center. The video we received from the workers is frightening".
Francesco Iacovone of the national Cobas denounces it.
The Cremonese newspapers trace the brawl to the refusal by two men to wear the anti Covid 19 mask. In the video, shot on social media, the two men are seen throwing supermarket baskets and punching people who try to block them.
A police patrol then intervened to block them.
"But this is what happens in commercial places every day and millions of workers remain exposed to the risk of contagion and the possibility of aggression by pandemic deniers. There is no more time - continues Iacovone -: workers' reports they have a daily frequency and the risk of contagion, added to that of aggression, must be contained by the institutions of this country "" The rhetoric of the heroes, those on the front line during the lockdown, is not needed to work in peace - continues the union representative - instead we need quotas at entrances, masks and stringent controls. In addition to the health crisis we are facing a real problem of public order that must be vigorously tackled by the Government, through the competent Ministers and Prefects ", concludes Iacovone.
