Damascus Governorate continues the asphalt work of a number of streets and neighborhoods of the city and the restoration of damaged asphalt, with the aim of improving the service situation of the roads.

In this context, the governorate's workshops carry out asphalting works on the main road, starting from the Ain Tarma Bridge to the March 8 Complex in Zablatani, according to what the director of maintenance in the governorate, Engineer Muhammad Hamamiyeh, said in a statement to the representative of SANA today, indicating that after completing this direction, the asphalting works will start from the complex. And even the Ain Tarma Bridge.

Hamamiyeh indicated that the workshops carried out scraping the road back and forth before starting to asphalt it, as well as skimming the asphalt in the Cardamom market in Zablatani in preparation for asphalting it as well.

As for the work of removing rubble and dirt, Hamami pointed out that the workshops are carrying out work of transferring rubble and dirt from the entrance to the Ish Al-Waror Barzeh, where it has worked to transfer 3 thousand cubic meters and it is continuing to transfer all the rubble in the place in parallel with the continuation of the transfer work from Al-Qadam Road after Al-Qadam Police Station and to the complex Industrial foot, as part of the rehabilitation and maintenance work of the road.
