Today (28th) is the 6th anniversary of the Umbrella Movement. Someone launched the "Sixth Anniversary of Umbrella Movement and Shop&Play" online, calling on the masses to hold a commemorative event at Pacific Place in Admiralty at 6:30 pm.

Nearly 7 o'clock in the evening, people began to gather and shout slogans.

[18:57] Crowds gathered in Pacific Place and chanted slogans. Someone broadcasted "May the Glory Return to Hong Kong".

Last year (28th) was the fifth anniversary of the Umbrella Movement. Some citizens initiated a rally "Revolt against Authorities and Meet Dawn" in Tamar Park, Admiralty at 7pm.

After the rally ended peacefully, hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside the Chief Executive's Office. During the period, some people threw sundries at the police officers. The police dispatched water cannon trucks and fired several tear gas cannons to disperse the crowd.

The demonstrators dispersed at about 9 pm.
