Different generations and schools of art met in the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Midan within a joint art exhibition in which the participants' brush competed to show their feelings and dreams on paper.

Wassim Moubayed, Director of Damascus Culture, explained to SANA that the exhibition was distinguished by being a gathering of young artists and professionals to achieve the message of art and beauty, as well as shedding light on the work of the participants, stressing the Culture Directorate's support for artists of all ages to deliver the noble message of art as a key partner in the defense of the homeland.

The plastic artist, Fayza al-Halabi, owner of the Fairouz Forum that organized the exhibition, stated that the different artistic experiences were reflected in the exhibition's paintings through more than 60 various paintings, indicating that she participated in turn through an expressive acrylic portrait.

Fine artist Sana Al-Sabbagh also chose charcoal and pencil portraiture to participate in the exhibition, which is her third participation in a group exhibition.

As for the young artist Zeina Abdel Mawla Al Hariri, who developed her talent by communicating with artists and benefiting from online education, she expressed through her painting about asylum, suffering, poverty and homelessness using oil colors.

Elias El-Khoury, a first-year fine arts student, chose to use bold colors to express a woman with a look of hope and make each color express her life experience painted on her face, relying also on oil colors.

Syrian antiquities was the choice of artist Rajaa Biloni, as she embodied her painting The Lady of Palmyra with a color technique that retrieves the decoration used in those eras by making a link between the past and the present.

The School of Fine Arts at Jawdat Al-Hashemi High School Alaa Al-Hamwi embodied the Impressionist school through roses and nature and drew her happiness to participate in the exhibition because it develops her talent and pushes her to advance further in the world of painting.
